FAQs

Welcome to our new facility. WeÆve been waiting for you.  Here is your e-tour of our clinic.

As you enter the building, you will find a clean and spacious waiting/reception area.

Our next stop will take you into our examination room where Dr. Jensen and his staff carefully cover every aspect of your pets well being and assess any complaints or problems they might have.

Next is our surgical suite. This is where every major small animal surgical procedure is performed.

Our radiology and ultrasound room has state of the art equipment, including and ultrasound machine which can detect a foul in as little as days, and puppies can be seen in less than days. It is also used in finding abnormalities in the bladder, liver, and other major organs. Both x-ray and ultrasound machines are portable for your convenience.

The next stop is isolation. This is where animals with special needs are kept. Special care is given to those needing IV therapy, special medications, treatment for parvo and other life-threatening situations.

On the east side of the building is where our boarding animals stay. Boarded animals are walked every morning and afternoon. They are encouraged to bring their own tows and any special blankets or treats, but we provide them with Science Diet food while they are staying with us. The animals that have had surgery also stay here during recovery where they can be closely monitored.

In our lab area, we run several in-house blood tests, urinalysis, fecal floatations and smears, and read slides under the microscope as we look for parasites, urinary crystals, and diseases such as Trichomoniasis. We also run many tests in the lab including parvo, feline leukemia, and heartworm.

Next is the pharmacy. Here we keep all of the prescription drugs that are dispensed by Dr. Jensen.

The main work area of our building is very spacious and includes a large exam and surgical preparation table which has everything we need conveniently located nearby for all types of emergencies and procedures. Our patients are induced with anesthesia and carefully monitored here before being moved into surgery. Also in this area, we have a large tub-sized basin that we use for teeth cleaning, dental care, bathing, and cleaning wounds.

Now we move back up front to the reception area. Opposite from the waiting room we have a lot of supplies for large and small animal needs from nursing kits and formula, to horse de-wormer. We also have a wide variety or large animal vaccines and antibiotics. Our Science Diet pet foods include all you need for both felines and canines that are large and small, overweight and thin, old and young. We also have prescription formula foods for intestinal disorders, urinary problems, allergies, and other conditions. You can purchase any of our products at very competitive and reasonable prices.

There are a couple of rooms that are still under construction which will include another exam room, and an expanded cat boarding facility, and grooming. We plan on putting them into use as they are needed.

The Emery County Animal Shelter is also located at our building. There are indoor and outdoor runs available for impounded dogs, and partially enclosed indoor kennels for cats. All of the pound animals are kept in another part of the building, away from hospitalized and boarding animals.

Outside, we are set up for large animals as well. Our facility allows us to do a number of large animal techniques such as bull breeding soundness exams, c-sections, and ultrasounds on large animals. We also have a spacious pasture that we use for boarding large animals.

Thank you for participating in our tour of our new clinic. We are very proud of and hope that you will come and visit us soon.
